Gösta Hansson and his wife Fanny Hansson founded AB Möbel Hansson in 1935 in the Southern part of Stockholm. The establishment was moved to the Old Town, Storkyrkobrinken 6, in 1938. When my father-in-law passed away in 1972, Fanny and their son, Stig, took over the firm.

In 1970 I met my husband-to-be. It was Ragge Zedell, who in those days managed the shop across the street, who introduced me to "the trickster, whom I had best watch out for", and, of course, I took great care to follow his advice. I lived on the third floor of the house where the shop is still located today. We practically stumbled across each other in the hallway.

My mother-in-law handed over the shop to us in 1984, but already in 1975 Stig and I renovated the interior. In 1986 I turned the cellar into a shop with glass objects, porcelain and cutlery, and a few pieces of furniture as well. In 1987 the time came for the upper floor.

In 1994, my beloved husband passed away, and now I manage the store on the groundfloor, dividing my time between it and my research in the field of swedish copper work and copper stamps.
